Much of my focus was on helping teams prioritize work, improve visibility, and keep projects moving.

At Advanced Sheetmetal Associates, I managed eight concurrent commercial HVAC and laboratory construction projects supporting approximately $30 million in combined capital project value. My work included projects for Pfizer, Yale New Haven Health, and Electric Boat, with responsibility spanning planning, procurement, field coordination, client communication, and project delivery. I also focused on improving how projects were managed internally, developing tracking tools and standardizing workflows to give teams better visibility into the work.

My career began in the U.S. Navy, where I spent nearly a decade in submarine operations, engineering, and training leadership. I led technical teams aboard nuclear submarines before transitioning to training operations supporting more than 1,000 officers annually, with leadership responsibilities ranging from small technical teams to organizations of more than 160 people. The Navy taught me how to make decisions with incomplete information, communicate clearly under pressure, and build teams around trust and accountability. Those lessons still shape how I approach leadership today.
